Abstract

A spinner disc (1), driven in a rotary manner about an essentially vertical rotational axis (7), for a winter-service grit spreader for spreading granulated gritting material is provided on its top side with throwing blades (2, 3, 4) which run essentially radially to the rotational axis and have different radial lengths (11, 12, 13). Gritting material is continuously fed to the spinner disc (1) from a supply container via a drop tube by means of a conveying device. In order to improve such a spinner disc (1) in such a way that, irrespective of the spreading widths set in each case as a function of rotational speed, a uniform distribution of the gritting material can be achieved over the entire spreading width, the radially inner ends of all throwing blades (2, 3, 4) lie on the same radius (R) and the radially outer ends (2/1, 3/1, 4/1) of the throwing blades (2, 3, 4) lie on different radii, the outer edge (11) of the spinner disc (1) in the radial direction towards the rotational axis (7) terminating flush with the outer ends (2/1, 3/1, 4/1) of the individual throwing blades (2, 3, 4). <IMAGE>
