Abstract

The invention relates to a closure seal strip for pouches, comprising an elongate, flat strip part having reinforced longitudinal edges, the closure seal strip consisting exclusively of plastic. In order to provide a closure seal strip which can be used with different pouch dimensions and ensures reliable closure and sealing, it is provided that a first longitudinal edge 2a, 2b is provided on one side A of the strip part 1 and a second longitudinal edge 2c, 2d is provided on the other side B of the strip part 1. Each longitudinal edge 2a-2d has moulded-on connection means 3a-3d, 4a-4d such that, when the closure seal strip is fitted about the pouch opening, one section of the first longitudinal edge 2a, 2b can be connected in a positively locking manner with a section of the second longitudinal edge 2c, 2d. <IMAGE>
