Abstract
Device for controlling a tap by optical detection, characterised in that the transmitter (6) and the receiver (7) are physically separated and in that their axes (8 and 9) are coincident and contained in an inclined plane. The axes (8 and 9) are substantially coincident with the vertical (YY) passing through the axis of the spout (2) of the tap. The control device is associated with a usual device of the type of those in which the axes of the transmitter and of the receiver are substantially parallel, this usual device being disposed between the transmitter and the receiver of the invention. Means are provided to adjust the position of the point of convergence (I) of the axes (8 and 9). <IMAGE>
