Abstract

A container (100) capable of suspension in a toilet bowl and constructed so as to receive a water-soluble block (colour stick) is proposed, which container essentially comprises a shell body (10), a lid (50) articulated thereon and provided with a basket part (56) for the admission of water, and a correspondingly constructed closure member (30). The shell body (10) and the lid (50) are provided, on the side opposite a common rear wall (14, 54), in each case with a conically widening end wall (15, 55). A stopper (70) is arranged on the inner side of the end wall (55) of the lid (50) between two catch elements (60, 60') arranged at a distance from one another, and the closure member (30) as well as two catch devices (65, 65') are provided on the inner side of the end wall (15) of the shell body (10). When closed, the stopper (70) is arranged sealingly in the closure member (30) acting like a syphon, and the lid (50) is detachably fastened to the shell body (10) by means of the catch elements (60, 60') snapping into the catch device (65, 65'). <IMAGE>
