Abstract

1. Power wrench comprising a wrench head (10) in which a ring (12) connectible to a bolt head is pivoted, a piston-cylinder unit (20) whose cylinder is integrated into a fixed attachment (18) of the wrench head (10) and which presses against a support element (23) adaptable to a stationary abutment, and an entrainment system (21) driven by the piston-cylinder unit (20) and entraining the ring (12) only in one sense of rotation of the wrench head (10) characterized in that the support element (23) is fixed to a support ring (22) positioned on ring (12), that the support ring (22) encloses the wrench head except for the attachment (18), the support element (23) extending approximately tangentially relative to ring (12) or to the wrench head (10) and the effective lengths of the support element (23), on the one hand, and of the attachment (18) of the wrench head, on the other hand, each with respect to the center of the wrench head (10) differing from one another by less than a factor 1.5 and, in particular, being substantially of the same size.
