Abstract
In order to ensure reliable resilience of the central buffing sill (2) in an undercarriage (1) of a railway vehicle, in which the restricted nature of the space available in the undercarriage (1) is taken into account, a supporting and guiding device for the bearing of the central buffing sill (2) has supporting and guiding elements (11) which support and guide the central buffing sill (2) against the undercarriage (1). The central buffing sill (2) has central buffing longitudinal carriers (5a) and (5b) with a continuous open recess (7) which is externally opened towards the side and has a cross-section and an upper boom (8) and lower boom (9) which bound the recess (7) and a web (10) which connects the booms (8) and (9). At least in the region between the two head sections (12) of the undercarriage (1), the supporting and guiding elements (11) are arranged inside the recesses (7). Sliding bearings (111) and roller bearings (112) are provided as supporting and guiding elements (11), the central buffing sill (2) being supported vertically against the undercarriage (1) in the non-stressed state against the underside of the upper boom (8) on the external ring (112a) of the roller bearings (112). <IMAGE>
