Abstract

Ventilation system consisting of louvres (6) and valves (21) where the valves (21) function as precipitation-tight ventilation regulators providing a ventilation coefficient (cv) in the range of 0 to 0.6. When the valves (21) are fully opened in case of fire the ventilation coefficient (cv) is in the range of 0.5 to 0.9. The fixed louvres (6) consist of two extruded profiles (7, 12) and connecting strips (11). The valves (21) consists of an extruded profile (22) and strips (23, 24) and are hinged over the full length of the louvre (6). The hinge uses bearing elements (20). The extruded profiles (7,12) are provided with gutters (8, 9, and 14) to catch precipitation. <IMAGE>
