Abstract

The baking oven has an oven muffle (3) which is surrounded by an oven housing (1) and can be closed by an oven door (11). On the upper door edge, there is provided an air outlet opening (21) in association with an air guide element arranged in the oven housing, for carrying off the air heated in the surroundings of the oven muffle or the heated air coming directly out of the oven muffle.
