Abstract

The flat sifter has an oscillating screen part (10) with a cylindrical screen housing (12) which contains a screen stack comprising individual screen frames (14). Product channels (42, 44, 46, 48) for supplying and discharging the sifted material are formed by segment-like interspaces between the screen frames and the screen housing. All the screen frames are in alignment with each other. Plates (52) projecting horizontally into the product channels are provided on the screen frames to hold the sifted material.
