Abstract

1. Tool for the closing of one-trip containers (10) having an encircling outwardly directed rim (9) with a cover (7) having a downwardly bent-over rim (20), especially for the closing of menu dishes, comprising a guide frame (3) on which there are secured slides (8) which are movable into the interior and which each support at the free inwardly directed end a part of a closing frame (5) which is divided multiply and is applicable on to the containers (10) below the encircling rim (9) and then surrounds the container (10) completely, an upper mould (1) which is inserted into the guide frame (3) and is connected thereto, and whose mould cavity corresponds in cross-section to the outer cross-section of the cover (7) through the downwardly bent-over rim (20), and also an upper frame (2) which is arranged spaced from the guide frame (3) and which is movable towards the guide frame (3) characterised in that the upper frame comprises at the circumference downwardly directed projections (11) which at the end remote from the closing frame (5) act on the slides (8) in the guide frame (3) and press the slides (8) on movement of the upper frame (2) towards the guide frame (3) into the interior, and that the upper mould (1) is arranged between the upper frame (2) and the guide frame (3) at a spacing from both and compressible spacer elements (4) are arranged between the guide frame (3) and the upper mould (1).
