Abstract

Spray closure (14) for a container (10) which can only be actuated in an inverted position and consists of an insertion element (16) which can be inserted into the neck opening (12) and of a cap (22) which can be rotated between a closed position and a spray position. An air pipe (30) projects into the part of the container which contains air (34) and has a coaxial air channel (32) which opens into an outlet bore (42) in the end side (48) of the insertion element (16). The diameter of the outlet bore (42) of the air pipe (30) is dimensioned to be smaller than the inner diameter of the air pipe (30). The insertion element (16) has at least one fluid bore (38) which connects the interior (36) of the container (10) in each case to a fluid channel (40) which opens into the outlet bore (42) of the air pipe (30). The cross-sections of the fluid bore (30) and the fluid channel (40) are dimensioned to be so small that fluid can only pass into the outlet bore (42) of the air channel (32) when the container is actuated. The outlet bore (42) of the air pipe (30) is connected in the open rotation position to an outlet opening (24) in the cap (22). The spray is precisely controllable. <IMAGE>
