Abstract

The control apparatus for the pumping station comprises at least one pump driven by a motor, a sensor for the delivery pressure of the pump or for the level of a volume, and a minimum delivery flow rate sensor for the pump capable of triggering the stopping of the motor. The minimum flow rate sensor 12 is of a type which does not give rise to a substantial head loss when the pump is in normal operation and consists, for example, of an oscillating flap 14 submerged in the delivery duct 1 of the pump and connected to a switch 10% for controlling the motor, and capable of causing this motor to stop.
