Abstract
The invention relates to a heat generator for hot water production and heating, consisting of a substantially cylindrical, vertical tank (1) with cold- and hot-water connections (2, 3), with an upper heating system flow and a lower heating system return connection (4, 5) and with a downward-directed burner heating device (6), formed from a heat transfer medium and heating-gas duct (7, 8) equipped with burner and passing centrally through the tank. According to the invention, between the bottom (9) of the downward-directed burner chamber (10) forming a first part of the heating-gas duct (8) and the lower closure (11) of the heat transfer medium duct (7) constructed as a smooth tube (12) there is arranged a tube set (R) forming the second part of the heating-gas duct (8) and consisting of a plurality of vertically extending individual tubes (13); according to the length of the tube set (R), the downward-directed burner chamber (10) is mounted at the upper end of the tube (12) or occupies an upper part of the length of the tube (12); arranged in the lower part of the tank (1) is a coiled pipe (14) which is connected to the flow connection (4), has a plurality of turns and surrounds the tubes (12) and this coiled pipe is connected at its lower end to the tube (12) and lastly a waste gas-collecting chamber (15) with waste-gas connection (16) and condensate drainage connection (17) is arranged below the closure (11) of the tube (12). <IMAGE>
