Abstract

A toothbrush comprising a bristle holder (5) and bristles which project approximately perpendicular from the plane of the bristle holder (5) or of the bristle field (12) can adapt to the contours of the marginal or interdental gingiva (see 10) and thus prevent the formation of periodontal pockets due to plaque.
