Abstract

The packing carton is formed from a lower section (18) and two at least partially overlapping upper sections (15,20) with each upper section connected to the lower section by a side section (17,19). The two upper sections each have an at least partially identical recess (16,21) for fixing the product. These recesses can be shaped according to the packing needs of the product. Of the overlapping upper sections the lower section (15) has a lower side product support face (26) and the upper section (20) has an upper side product support face (28). Where the upper sections face each other a support bearing is formed without any fixing members on the part of the packing.
