Abstract

The motorised handling system for suspended scenery fastened on a horizontal carrying bar (50) comprises a horizontal three-dimensional carrying beam (2) with a central space (6). A motor reduction assembly (8) mounted at one end of the beam has its output shaft (17) coupled to a transmission shaft (18) extending horizontally in the central space. A succession of fasteners (20) suspending the carrying bar can vary its height. Each fastener comprises a chain cog mounted coaxially on the transmission shaft and rotated by it. A chain section (21) which passes on the chain cog is formed with its clear vertical run fastened on the carrying bar, and its dead length received in an associated container (24).
