Abstract

Foot-rest (1) for a sailing board (4), mounted alone or by groups on the upper surface (6) of the sailing board (4) and comprised of a strap. The strap is connected to the upper surface (6) of the board (4) by both its ends. At least one of the ends of the strap is connected to the board (4), as for a security clamp, by a device wherein a spring element (22) allows to adjust the opening moment of that end of the foot-rest (1). The foot-rest (1) is fixed to a shaft (2) of a part having the shape of a clip (3). In the board (4) there is mounted a casing (5) comprising a fixed retainer shaft (8). The clip-shaped part (3) grips the retainer shaft (8) from the top, with the possibility to adjust the initial tension by means of the spring element (22, 20). When exceeding the clamping force, determined by the initial tension, of the clip-shaped part (3), the latter is disengaged from the retainer shaft by moving upwardly with the foot-rest (1).
