Abstract

The aim of the invention is to improve a device (1) designed for use in dressing and undressing and in cleaning handicapped persons, so that cleaning of the body, particularly the difficultly accessible excretion regions, is facilitated. The device (1) consists of a mobile frame (2) with a patient-carrying surface (3) which can be tilted upwards at various angles about an axis (4) parallel to the base of the device (1) near the bottom of the frame (2), means (8, 9, 10) being fitted on the patient-carrying surface to support the body or hold it in place.
