Abstract

The drawer is fitted with railings (4) to increase the effective height of the sides, e.g. to hold large items. The railings are secured onto the rear corners of the drawer by bayonet fittings and to the rear of the front panel (5) by press fit connections. Releasing the press fit connections allows the side railings to be swung out of line with the drawer edges for cleaning access. The rear bayonet connections are set into the drawer rear corners or are incorporated into the corner joints at the top corners of the drawer. The corner joint connections can incorporate telescopic joints to facility the press fit connections to the rear of the front panel.
