Abstract

The watch case has a pair of recesses (2) in the base (1) of the watch case, each containing a U-shaped clip (7), with one of its arms received by a pivot mounting (6) allowing it to pivot relative to the recess. The second arm of each U-shaped clip is pivoted out from the recess for receiving the end of a watch strap and is subsequently secured within the recess by a retaining edge (11) of the latter. The second clip arm may be held against the retaining edge under spring tension and secured in this position by a self-clamping screw. <IMAGE>
