Abstract

The refrigerator comprises a rigid chassis including a base (1) and mountings (2) and crossbeams (3). Thermal insulation is mounted around the furniture, towards the base interior (11,16) and towards the exterior of the mountings and crossbeams (4,5,5a). The bodywork supports (8,9) hold the furniture contents and refrigeration units (12,13). A rigid assembly (10) joins the base to the mountings, including integrated thermal insulation. The rigid assembly may be in two parts, one of which may be detachable. One may be fixed by welding and the other detachable by bolts or hooks. Alternatively, the rigid assembly may form a rear foot for the furniture. Perforated panels (6,7), for ventilation, may be mounted inside the mounting and crossbeam.
