Abstract
An encapsulated voltage converter for use in switching systems has a housing Ä1Ü containing three such converters Ä2,3,4Ü, each having a core Ä5Ü and a coil Ä6Ü. In one version the converters are laid out with the axes Ä10,11,12Ü parallel to each other and one of the converters Ä3Ü is offset from the others. The housing walls are curved to minimise the size of the unit. A number of alternative configurations are possible.
