Abstract

A toggle break magneto-thermic automatic switch in which an arming link (11) and a support lever (12) for a movable contact arm (10) form a toggle articulated in an arming-link-retaining dihedral formed by an inclined plane (31) of the said support lever (12) and a latch pawl (14) retaining tooth (29), actuated to break the toggle articulation by an electromagnetic striker (52) via the intermediary of a trip lever member (42) which interferes with the said latch pawl (14). <IMAGE>
