Abstract

Novel pliers are made in two halves (1, 2) using plastic mouldings, pivoting at a joint (1). The new pliers have plastic handle mouldings (5, 6). The jaws (4) project from the mouldings and are metal, in a form corresponding to their application. They move in a common plane (B). The jaws are one-piece metal insert (9, 10), and are embedded in the mouldings, largely surrounded. They go back at least to the joint, and have a hole (12) in which the pivot (18) of the joint is mounted.
