Abstract

The moving coil assembly of a loudspeaker unit is produced with the windings formed on a tubular carrier (10) the axis of which forms that of the loudspeaker. The coil windings (14) are separated from each other by layers of insulation that are of a high temperature resistant polymer. The outer surface of the carrier tube also has a layer of insulation.
