Abstract

The table top (10) is supported by a foot with tubular table element (14, 16) which is mounted underneath the table top and is firmly connected to same or to a supporting frame (12) whereby it can be tilted. An aperture (24) passes through the table top and is axially aligned with the tubular table element whilst a support element (26) housed in the tube can be extended telescopically through the aperture in order to fix additional function elements (30) when necessary to the support element above the table top. The support element can be pushed back into the tubular element completely below the surface of the table top when there is no need for additional function elements. The foot has a base element (20) which can be axially adjusted relative to the tubular element and then locked.
