Abstract

The invention relates to a frame for posters or the like comprising a basic frame with front elements fitted to its edges. The front elements are connected in each case to the basic frame by a joint and swing out individually from the surface of the frame. Each of the joints presents a cup and a pin. In order to reduce assembly and production costs of a frame and obtain substantial improvement of its stability, the joint cup (9) and the joint pin (10) are both designed on a section (7), one of the sections (7) presenting a catching element (17) which bites elastically into the other section in a substantially arc-shaped area in which at least one catching recess (19) is provided.
