Abstract

The roll-on ventilation element comprises a centre strip (6) for placing over the ridge rafter (18) and adjoining ventilation strips (7) and sealing strip (8). The ventilation element is made of an extruded air and water impermeable material. The ventilation strip has spaced ventilation openings (9). The ventilation openings are formed in ledges projecting in the ventilation strip towards the top side and whose outer edges form water protection edges. The sealing strip is made of lead, aluminium, copper or similar.
