Abstract
1. Spring board for gymnastics, wherein a curved top board (6) having a jumping-off area and a curved supporting board (1) form an acute angle and are separated at a distance from the angle apex by means of an S-shaped spring leaf (2), the top board (6) and the supporting board (1), the top board (6) and the spring leaf (2), as well as the spring leaf (2) and the supporting board (1) forming an abutment area in each case where they rest against one another, and a resiliently compressible, interposed spring element (4) is associated with at least one of the abutment areas, characterised in that the spring element (4) is interposed in at least one of the abutment areas, shears, and comprises a resilient property, which is softer than that of the spring board without the spring element.
