Abstract

The box comprises a single cardboard blank which forms four main rectangular sides of the box and two end pieces (16,17), which are connected by tabs to the main sides. The blank is divided by four main fold lines (2,3,24,25) into five equally long panels (11-15) to form the main sides of the box. The two outer panels (11,15) cover each other when the box is closed. The outer covering panel (15) and the panel (14) next to it are provided with stamp lines (26,27,28) for forming a lid (1) in the box. The stamp lines only partly penetrate the cardboard and merge in a closure tab (8). Both end pieces and at least four of the tabs (20-23) are formed by fold lines in one panel on the narrow edges of the main sides.
