Abstract

The pneumatic sheet feed system for the printing press has openings (9) in the guide surface connected to the flow channel linked to the press pneumatic system. At least one coolant channel (2) is within the flow channel (8) with a forward and a backward flow. The longitudinal line of the coolant channel is along the direction of movement, with a functional link to the guide surfaces of the flow channel (8). A number of openings are along the movement line next to the coolant channel. At least one drying system acts on the guide surfaces of the sheet feed unit (1).
