Abstract

The transformer has an integral noise current filter winding (FiW) which uses one or more layers of the high voltage winding adjacent to the low voltage winding, whereby an autotransformer circuit is formed involving the noise filter winding. At least one filter connected to the filter winding connections (Fi) consists of a series circuit contg. at least one filter resistance and a filter capacitor. The filter winding can be separately arranged between the high and low voltage windings with a filter connected to its connections.
