Abstract

1. Fastening mechanism for the strap-shaped carrying means (3) of a lifting gear comprising a strap-shaped carrying means that can be wound in spiral form about a drum (4) and which is fastened by its one end to load carrying means (1, 2) and by its other end to the drum, the respective enf of the carrying means being introduced into a recess arranged at least in the load carrying means, transversely to the carrying means, and provided with a receiving slot (7) for the carrying means, and being passed around a clamping elements (9, 9a) which is arranged in the said recess and by which it is pressed against the inner wall of the recess, characterized in that the said recess takes the form of a bore (6), that the clamping element (9, 9a) is radially expandable and comprises an axial tensioning screw (100) passing through the said clamping element for being screwed into an abutment (13), and that the said clamping element coacts with tensioning elements (10) for translating an axial tensioning movement into a radial expansion of the clamping element.
