Abstract

The plough has a lever (5) that works on both of its sides in flanges (7) fixed to the rear surface of the plough (1) when in the travel direction. One of its ends (5a) locks into engagement with the rear face of the strip (4). At the other end (5b) one or two transversely spaced arms (11) swing in the same plane as the lever. These lock to engage with the rear plough face by an actuating mechanism (3). This typically incorporates recesses (9) in the plough face, together with a clamping screw (17) passing through the plough and bearing against the lever end.
