Abstract

The system comprises a mortise lock (10) with catch (12), bolt (14), a first profiled cylinder (18) adjacent to a cuff (16) (sic), and a second profiled cylinder (22) at the opposite side of the first to the cuff. The first cylinder is semi-cylindrical, giving a lock tongue movement of 180 degrees with a locking movement through 360 degrees. It can be actuated by a cylindrical or security key, while the second one can be actuated by a special inserted key. Both cylinders can be designed for operation from one side only, while the catch (12) can be actuated by one or more door-pawls. The second cylinder can be actuated by a hand lever from the opposite side.
