Abstract

The clamp (12) fixes hinge components (13) to metal or synthetic profiles, especially on the frames (2) or wings (3) of windows or doors, and which have grooves or channel (7) with undercuts (9a,b). The component has a foot (16) on its underside which can press sideways with an elongated strip (17) in an undercut region (9a), in order to provide support. The elongated strip on the foot has an effective width which can be adjusted (22a,b) relative to the component.
