Abstract

The cuff acts as an adaptor for providing a gas-tight connection between a flue pipe (8) and a chimney (1). A flange plate (6) has a central aperture (7) providing a pressure seat for the end of the flue pipe. The opening edge (9) is pivoted in the direction of the central longitudinal axis of the flue pipe. It can act as a sealing ring cooperating with the outer surface (11) of the flue pipe. The flange plate edge has a perpendicular cuff (12). This can fit over a connection opening (3) provided by the chimney, with a circular clamp (13) used to secure the cuff to the opening.
