Abstract

The invention relates to a manhole cover, comprising a frame and a lid insertable in said frame, wherein the lid has a bottom plate (6) that is substantially covered by an insert plate (3). A fixing crown (2) is placed on top of the bottom plate (6) and the insert plate (3) whose outer diameter corresponds to the outer diameter of the bottom plate (6), wherein a peripheral groove extending from its inner wall is configured on the underside of the fixing crown (2), the outer edge areas of the insert plate (3) being received in said groove and the fixing crown (2) being detachably fixed to the bottom plate (2).
