Abstract

The shower partition has two doors. The two doors (2,4) are preferably at right angles to each other. One of the doors (4) can be swung and locked into position using a removable locking mechanism (24). The swing door is joined to a bath tub (20) outside the shower area (16). Preferably the doors are matching and located in a corner (28) of the shower area. The locking mechanism consists of a bearing block (30) secured to a bathroom wall (8) and another bearing block (32) fixed to the swing door. At least one of the doors is mounted in a bracket (34) and/or a holder rod. The bearing block for the swing door contains removable bolts that fit into holes in the bracket.
