Abstract

1. A carrier-less carbon recording material including a dye-coat - the dye particles of which are dispersed in a coat of a synthetic-resin bonding agent - and a synthetic-resin top coat which covers the rear of the dye-coat, is applied thereto as a solution and is subsequently physically dried, in which the top coat is based on a solvent-soluble non-reactive polyurethane resin comprising additives, characterised in that the top coat is modified by adding thereto, while still in its state of solution, a small quantity of a polyisocyanate derived from isocyanuric acid by replacing the three H atoms of the latter by hydrocarbon radicals which in turn carry free NCO groups and which react with reactive OH groups to form a high-strength polyurethane resin which is three-dimensionally interlaced.
