Abstract

1. A rubbing-down and stripping-off tool consisting of intermediate rings (1) having parallel inclined faces (2) between which there are gripped sheets (3), preferably having the length of half a circumference, and of two end rings (4, 5) having a straight outer face (4', 5') and an inner face (2') inclined in the same direction as the faces (2) of the intermediate rings (1), all these rings (1, 4, 5) being gripped on a drive spindle, characterised in that the sheets (3) are sheets of lamellated cloth and are bonded at the grain side to the internal diameter of the rings (1) forming two successive half-helices of opposite pitch, this mounting enabling the drive spindle not to be in contact with the grain and so not to wear, and that on the part to be machined are realised a crossed manner.
