Abstract

1. Cladding panel comprising a block (1) of insulating material having roughly the shape of a parallelepiped and a metal facing (2) having a generally rectangular shape constituting the outer face of the panel, and means (14, 15) for securing this panel to the wall to be cladded, characterised in that the block (1) of insulating material is so shaped as to define two set-back edge portions (3, 4) disposed along two of its adjacent lateral sides and two projecting edge portions (6, 7) disposed along its other two lateral sides, the metal facing (2) comprising two edge portions (16, 17) disposed in facing relation to the two set-back edge portions (3, 4) of the block of insulating material, and the fastening means (14, 15) extending in orifices (18, 13) provided in the edge portions (16, 17) of the facing and in the set-back edge portions (3, 4) of the block of insulating material, these fastening means being covered, after assembly, by the projecting edge portions (6, 7) and by the facing (2) of adjacent panels.
