Abstract

There is disclosed a mattress (10), one person supporting surface of which is adapted to conform to the body shape of a light person lying thereon and the other supporting surface of which is adapted to conform to the body of a heavy person lying thereon. One or both surfaces is preferably formed with a plurality of projections (14; 24) (e.g. truncated pyramids), one of the surfaces having a greater number of projections than the other so as to provide support for a lighter person than the other of said surfaces". <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
