Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet holding mechanism in which number of members for a transmission device is decreased and opening and closing movements of the sheet holding mechanism can be performed by a little force in relation to the sheet holding mechanism which can be driven for a sheet carrying cylinder in a rotary press. SOLUTION: A sheet holding mechanism at least comprises a number of hooks 2 provided on a hooking shaft 3 and corresponding hooking bases 1 and a cam 4 is fixed on the end face side of the hooking shaft 3 and the cam is linked with a roller provided on a roller lever 6. In this case, the roller lever 6 as well as another roller lever 15 with a roller 10 are supported on a fixed rotational bearing 7 and the roller 10 is worked and bound with a control cam 11.
