Abstract

The knee protector comprises a protective piece (30) which is placed over the knee and two strip-formed holding sections (10,20) which are located at the sides of the protective piece and are connected to it. The two holding sections secure the protective piece at the knee area. At the area of the protective piece an actuator (50) is arranged so that a force transmitting element is formed. The two holding sections may be provided with an arched core (100) so that the line of action (W-W) of the force transmitting element intersects the core at two opposing points (P1,P2).
