Abstract
The invention relates to a system for generating signals, especially for the digital sound synthesis, and comprises a computer (35) for calculating coefficients in dependence on the signal to be generated, a coefficient memory (36) for storing the calculated coefficients and an arrangement (38) of a plurality of digital devices (5 to 7) that is linked with the coefficient memory (36). The signal to be generated is output at the output (40) of said digital devices. The system further comprises an excitation device (37) that is linked with the arrangement (38) and that feeds excitation signals to the arrangement (38), a control device (39) for controlling the coefficient memory (36), the excitation device (37) and the arrangement (38) in such a manner that the arrangement (38) is operated with the calculated and stored coefficients and the excitation signals.
