Abstract

1. A plug connector with coding means, comprising a first (1) and a second plug component (2) which have coding pieces (15, 19) arranged in such a manner that only plug components with a mutually adapted arrangement of the coding pieces (15, 19) can be joined together, and with pivotable support of the second plug component (2) on the first plug component (1), where a swivel motion causes the plug components (1, 2) to be joined together and removed from one another, characterized in that the second plug component (2) is rotatably mounted on a rotary axis (7) of the first plug component (1), that in the region of the rotary axis (7) one of the coding pieces (15, 19) is respectively arranged on the first (1) and on the second plug component (2) so to be exchangeable, and that on the surfaces (18, 20), which extend parallel to the rotary axis (7) and are opposite to one another, of the two coding pieces (15, 19), are arranged recesses (22) and projections (21), which engage into one another during swivelling of the second plug component (2) about the rotary axis (7).
