Abstract

The glass panels which cascade downwards are held by a holder having a support arm (1) fixable on the support and ending at the free end (5) in a downwardly aligned contact bearing arm (6) which has at least an upper and a lower bearing area (13,19) for each glass panel. The bearing arm extends towards the glass panel (16) and the upper and the lower bearing area each form a side member of a U-shaped socket (14,20) for each glass panel. The bearing arm is cropped between the two contact bearing areas so that the lower bearing area is further to the outside than the upper bearing area (13). The U-shaped socket can be a U-shaped damping part of elastic material.
