Abstract

The bracket arm (2) supports an external lamp at its free end and has a parallel guide at the side for attaching it to the upper end of a lamp post, provided by a pair of couplings. These are formed as a pair of shells (41,42) displaced along the lamp post and secured to the bracket arm via distance holders (71,72). The upper shell is fitted with an end cap (6), forming a concentric extension of the lamp post when the bracket arm is fitted to the latter, one of the distance holders acting as a cable guide for the lamp supply cable.
