Abstract
The rapid closure mechanism has a contact carrier (5) with spring return with a contact block mechanism (6). An interposition arm (9) is guided without forcing between the contacts and contained by the wall sides and protruding rib sections, and the movement energy stored in a spring (7). The interposition arm is moved by a handle (1), and in the blocking position the energy is rapidly stored when the moving contact terminates its course. The energy is rapidly restored by the spring.
